First Comenius visit in Poland
Eugeni, Amparo, Jose and Mariola visited the Szkola Podstawowa im.rtm.Witolda Pileckiego (Poland), our partnership in the Multilateral Comenius Association “Mens Sana in Corpore Sano. A Healthy Mind is in a Healthy Body”.

This visit lasted from the 24th to the 28th November 2010 and we participated with our partners from Germany and Northern Ireland. We had the opportunity to think about the teaching task and share our interests and worries.
In the next two years, we are going to visit all the schools participating in this European project. Our school is going to welcome them in March 2012.

Our school wins the XII Innovation Teaching Experience Prize ‘Ciutat d’Alzira’

The ‘Shakespearience’ project received last November, 25th the XII Innovation Teaching Experience Prize ‘Ciutat d’Alzira’, in the area of Education for children with special needs.
This project is based on an alternative communication system, called PSC. This system, mixed with music, allows children with special needs to recognize the emotions of the characters of ‘Romeo and Juliette’ and also to express their own emotions.
Old pupils meeting
A meeting of old pupils of Col·legi Hernández, born in 1974, took place last September. They met again 22 years after finishing their studies in our school and had dinner together. It was a great opportunity to exchange experiences, remember the school days and have fun together one more time. 21 pupils were able to attend this event, but we are sure that some more will join in next editions. They all decided to meet at least once a year from now on.
