THE STUDENTS OF 4th ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF HERNÁNDEZ SCHOOL ENJOY THE RENEWED FACILITIES OF THE PELAYO
On January 16 the students of 4th grade of the Hernandez school visited again the “trinquet” of Pelayo. This visit has been different from the previous ones, since this year they have been able to enjoy all the remodeling carried out in recent months.
The “trinquet” sports a new image after changing the floor and the terrace of the scale, as well as modifying the area of authorities and having a new video-marker of last generation.
The visit began in the exhibition area of El Genovés Ball Museum, where you can see the clothing, the unpublished articles of recognized players and a collection of balls to know how they have changed over time.
Fredi (ex-professional player) explained us through a brief introduction and a video, the history of the “trinquet” of Pelayo from its construction to the present.
Finally, what our students liked most was to be able to enjoy playing “raspall”, and especially that they have played at Pelayo, “La Catedral de la Pilota Valenciana”.
As Fredi told us “when a ball player announced Pelayo, I could go to any trinquet”.
An unforgettable experience for our students that makes them know and appreciate the sport of pilota.
