On 23 April, to mark World Book Day, our school was filled with joy, creativity and a passion for reading. The day began with a lively musical performance by the group “Trobadorets”, who entertained all the pupils with fun, interactive songs, creating a festive and very special atmosphere.
Throughout the day, various book-related activities took place, such as creating *bookfaces, where pupils demonstrated their imagination by combining book covers with the real world, as well as workshops to make *personalised bookmarks, thereby encouraging creativity and a love of reading.
One of the highlights was a visit from a former pupil, Luís López Fuster, who presented his own book to us. He is an amateur writer who has written, edited and printed his work entirely on his own – a fact that proved very inspiring for the pupils, who were able to learn first-hand about the process of creating a book.
All in all, it was a very enriching day that allowed us to enjoy reading from different perspectives, reinforcing the value of books and creativity within our educational community.
