Hernández School is starting the new academic year with some good news.
The eTwinning project “Vienna’s Calling: Exploring European Values and Citizenship” has been awarded with the National eTwinning Quality Label. Five primary school pupils from last academic year took part in this initiative.
The project, which ran from September 2024 to May 2025, involved pupils aged between 8 and 18, from both primary and secondary schools, from Portugal, Greece, Croatia, Georgia, Slovakia, Moldova, Cyprus, Turkey and Spain.
The main aim was to raise awareness of Vienna’s cultural and historical heritage whilst reflecting on shared European values and active citizenship.
The school’s educational community is celebrating this accolade and is keen to continue promoting European projects under the motto: “Enriching lives, opening minds”.
