The Hernández School will continue being the Ambassador School of the European Parliament

The task carried out during the first year has been recognized by the Ambassador Schools Program, which has awarded the students of Colegio Hernández the highest grade in the final evaluation of the project, as well as a commemorative plaque that accredits the center as Escuela Ambjadora del European Parliament.

Horacio Díez, national coordinator of the program, visited our town to see first-hand the numerous initiatives carried out by the student ambassador of 4th ESO within the framework of the European Union.

After a warm welcome to the school by children and primary school students, junior ambassadors, future ESO 3rd ambassadors and project coordinators went to the multipurpose room of La Obrera to participate in a talk-colloquium, where they discussed the characteristics most relevant of the European institutions through participatory dynamics of debate and gamification.

Horacio certified the remarkable progress experienced by the student body of the Ambassador, which during this year has deepened their knowledge about the European Union and has even had the opportunity to take the voice of the residents of our town at the headquarters of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. It is for this reason that, on behalf of the organizers of the project, Horacio conveyed to the students his sincere congratulations, and encouraged them to continue being active citizens and committed to the future of the European Union and Human Rights.

Congratulations and keep building Europe!
