The Hernández School revalidates the triumph in the 2nd Pilota a l’Escola

More than 150 students from 13 different centers enjoyed yesterday our sport at the 2nd Pilota a l’Escola Meeting for students of ESO, which took place in Massalfassar.

The 13 centers, from localities from Burriana to Onil, met at the Massalfassar trinquete to participate in the project organized jointly by the Ministry of Education and the Valencian Pilota Federation. The centers that disputed the final phase were: IES Càrcer (Càrcer), San Antonio de Pàdua (Catarroja), Hernández School (Castelló) (two teams), IES Marcos Zaragoza (La Vila Joiosa), IES José Ribera (La Pobla del Duc), IES Llombai (Borriana), IES La Creueta (Onil), José Lluch School (Alboraia), La Concepción (Ontinyent), Vall de La Safor (Vilallonga), the Esculptor Ortells (Foios), the Orba (Orba), the IES Enrique Tierno Galván (Montcada) and the San José HHDC (Tavernes de la Valldigna).

First, an initial phase was carried out, where the teams faced each other and put into practice all that they learned with their teachers. The semifinalists from this phase were José Lluch (Alboraia), Orba, and the two teams of the Hernández School. Later, the first team of Col·legi Hernández, who won the first team, won and the Orba team, second placed.

Thus, the classification of this 2nd edition of Pilota a l’Escola was:

1st classified: Colegio Hernández 1

2nd ranked: Orba

3rd classified: Colegio Hernández 2

4th classified: Colegio José Lluch
