On March 14, the Extraordinary Primary Prizes awarded by the Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sports were delivered. Two students from our town have received this important recognition at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia.
Lucía Garcés Hernández, alumna of the Hernández school and Joan Grau Pla of the Ceip Severí Torres, are the two students who have received the Extraordinary Prize for the Academic Performance of Primary Education in the 2017-2018 academic year. With these awards, the Ministry intends to recognize the effort and merit of the students that have distinguished themselves in their studies at the end of the Primary Education stage, with the conviction that this will be a stimulus for the effort and an incentive for schoolchildren, after Primary Education, to successfully pursue their studies. They have received a diploma on excellence in academic performance issued by the Ministry responsible for education. Diploma that will consist, in addition, in its academic records.
